What’s notable with Spectrum this September?
With the mission of bringing bright and healthy eyes to children in need and the desire to illuminate their futures, Spectrum is proud to fulfill our commitment by returning to the Phuoc Thien Charity School after six months. During this visit, our dedicated team conducted thorough eye examinations and measurements for the children, ensuring they receive the care they deserve and helping them get more well-prepared for the new school year. This school serves as a miniature elementary haven, divided into grades 1 through 5, dedicated to providing education for children who often lack the opportunity to attend school.
In total, Spectrum conducted eye examinations for over 50 children aged 6 to 12. The results revealed that 14 of them had refractive issues such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. Among these, 3 children experienced an increase in their prescription after six months, while the remaining are new students this academic year. The completed glasses will be prepared by Spectrum and delivered directly to the children as soon as possible, allowing them to fully engage in their studies and activities with improved vision.
To add to the delight of this occasion, and in celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Spectrum is thrilled to gift each child with delicious mooncakes. This small gesture serves as a token of encouragement, aiming to motivate them in studying diligently and confidently pursuing their paths ahead. Witnessing the bright smiles on the children’s faces as they receive these gifts fills us with joy and reinforces our commitment to our mission “CARE FOR YOUR EYES, SHINE FOR YOUR FUTURE” – provide bright and healthy eyes as well as illuminate their futures.
